I guess I’m right when I say that nobody wants thinning brittle hair or worse, losing your precious hair. To grow a healthy hair is not all about hair loss treatments, hair growth conditioners and shampoos, and supplements, eating right is best to kick out hair loss. Your everyday diet plays a massive role in the health of your hair and here are some amazing hair growth foods you should include in your diet.

Flax seeds have a high concentration of omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids which is great news not only for the skin but also for the hair. Apart from that, they are also rich in unsaturated fats like the mono and polyunsaturated fatty acids. These properties make flax seeds one of the leading hair growth foods that you must include in your diet.

Yes! Chilies. Believe it or not, chilies do play a role on how our hair looks. Luscious hair needs a healthy circulation system and chilies get that blood pumping. They also contain Vitamin C and Capsaicin, which helps in a lot of body functions. Okay, if chilies are not your thing try cinnamon as they also promote circulation.

Lentils are packed with proteins and our hair is literally made of proteins. If your hair lacks protein it can lead to brittle hair. Lentils are also a great source of vegan protein and are also rich in fiber and iron. So next time order for that lentil soup on the menu – don’t skip!

This leafy green vegetable helps in preventing the body from becoming overly acidic, because of its alkaline nature. Having high acidity levels in the body causes some dysfunction in the body as well as the hair. Kale is also rich in minerals and its full of iron and Vitamin B which is needed by the hair to grow.

Avocado is also one of the best hair growth foods and apart from this it’s just yummy. This delicious fruit is full of monounsaturated fats which give hair it’s shine and luster. The great thing about avocado is that it works at a cellular level to improve hair texture, dullness, and growth. They also contain Potassium, Vitamin B, Fiber and Oleic acid.

Eggs contain healthy fats like omega 3 which are great for the hair. They are also full of Proteins, Biotin, B12, Iron, Folic acid and Choline which helps the hair by improving shine, avoiding premature graying, thinning and dullness.
